2017 Visit to Auckland Grammar School

Join us to visit Auckland Grammar School to see the archives, library, WW1 war memorial and the Spanish Mission building which celebrated its centenary last year.
WHEN: Sunday 26 February 2017 2- 4 pm
WHERE: Meet at Auckland Grammar School main building (Spanish Mission building), Mountain Rd, Epsom.
PARKING: Available in front of the Spanish Mission building for 25 cars - between 1.30 and 4.15pm - enter under the archway where the chain will be lifted..

These windows came from England as a gift from Alfred Bell, glassmaker to Her Majesty Queen Victoria, who owed his illustrious career to Albin Martin, who had given him drawing and painting lessons as a boy in England and set him on his path. In order to ensure that the church building and windows are properly preserved the parish vestry has employed heritage architects to oversee the work that needs to be done. .jpg)
